Kushboo Sundar, born Khushboo Khan (born 19 September 1970) is an Indian actress, television hostess and producer. She is also a judge in the Maanada Mayilaada.
She started her career in the 1980s as a child artist. Her first movie appearance was Thodisi Bewafaii (1980) where she had an uncredited role. She had her first credited role in the 1981 film Laawaris. Since then, she has acted in over 100 movies, some of which opposite leading actors like Kamal Hassan, Rajnikanth, Mammootty, Mohanlal, Sathyaraj, and Prabhu. She is known for her TV show Jackpot and her serials Kalki, Janani and Kungumam.
Apart from Tamil movies, she also acted in various movies in Kannada, Telugu, and Malayalam. Kushboo was introduced to South Indian by the Kannada actor-director Ravichandran. She has acted in many movies with him notably Ranadheera (1987), Anjada Gandu, Kaliyuga Pandavulu, Shanthi Kranthi and Yugapurusha. Khushboo has widely been recognized as a bold on screen protagonist.
Her close friends are actresses Roja, Sukanya, Kasthuri, Anu Hassan, Suhasini, and Meena. Kushaboo still dedicates her acting skills and make up to her senior star Suhasini who has helped her from her first movie. Actress Suganya elder to her by a year has been her silent mentor off the screen and been with her in her tough times. She assisted Khushboo in her marriage and conversion to Hinduism. When she is around on the same sets during the shoots for TV Serials for JAYA TV its usual to see Sukanya come up and plait Kushboo's hair show casing the special affection they had for each other.
